E-learning for enhancing management development programme is the new buzzword among corporates these days in the financial services, real estate, retail, telecom, pharmaceutical and FMCG sectors. According to Muralidar Rao, president & COO, NIS Sparta—part of the Reliance ADAG, “About 1,000 small and medium term enterprises (SMEs), including corporates, will look at investing Rs 500 crore in storing and accessing e-learning in the next two to three years.”

As for the rationale behind the move, Rao explained that e-learning will benefit corporates in reducing content time for face-to-face communications as part of the training programme, saving time in commuting and number of days apart from logistics costs as well. According to industry sources, in the real estate segment, Delhi-based Unitech is planning to adopt e-learning technology soon. Besides, Videocon Industries in the consumer durables segment is understood to be tapping the e-learning opportunities for enhancing its global competencies.

An IDC report estimates that worldwide revenues from e-learning would be $21 billion by 2008. India is one of the largest Markets in number of users and global elearning players are eyeing this opportunity. CrossKnowledge is a leading European player in distance training solutions.

According to Gartner, “One of the top 10 positions among global 1,000 Companies of the future will be that of an online learning designer. Companies today are vying with each other to be the learning designer of choice and are tying up across the world to deliver their programs.

I just had some interview questions from some source which I don’t remember exactly. I would like to share this with you all. Without wasting any time, here goes the questions:

General Questions

1. Does C# support multiple-inheritance?
No.

2. Who is a protected class-level variable available to?
It is available to any sub-class (a class inheriting this class).

3. Are private class-level variables inherited?
Yes, but they are not accessible.  Although they are not visible or accessible via the class interface, they are inherited.

4. Describe the accessibility modifier “protected internal”.
It is available to classes that are within the same assembly and derived from the specified base class.

5. What’s the top .NET class that everything is derived from?
System.Object.

6. What does the term immutable mean?
The data value may not be changed.  Note: The variable value may be changed, but the original immutable data value was discarded and a new data value was created in memory.

7. What’s the difference between System.String and System.Text.StringBuilder classes?
System.String is immutable.  System.StringBuilder was designed with the purpose of having a mutable string where a variety of operations can be performed.

8. What’s the advantage of using System.Text.StringBuilder over System.String?
StringBuilder is more efficient in cases where there is a large amount of string manipulation.  Strings are immutable, so each time a string is changed, a new instance in memory is created.

9. Can you store multiple data types in System.Array?
No.

10. What’s the difference between the System.Array.CopyTo() and System.Array.Clone()?
The Clone() method returns a new array (a shallow copy) object containing all the elements in the original array.  The CopyTo() method copies the elements into another existing array.  Both perform a shallow copy.  A shallow copy means the contents (each array element) contains references to the same object as the elements in the original array.  A deep copy (which neither of these methods performs) would create a new instance of each element’s object, resulting in a different, yet identacle object.

11. How can you sort the elements of the array in descending order?
By calling Sort() and then Reverse() methods.

12. What’s the .NET collection class that allows an element to be accessed using a unique key?
HashTable.

13. What class is underneath the SortedList class?
A sorted HashTable.

14. Will the finally block get executed if an exception has not occurred?­
Yes.

15. What’s the C# syntax to catch any possible exception?
A catch block that catches the exception of type System.Exception.  You can also omit the parameter data type in this case and just write catch {}.

16. Can multiple catch blocks be executed for a single try statement?
No.  Once the proper catch block processed, control is transferred to the finally block (if there are any).

17. Explain the three services model commonly know as a three-tier application.
Presentation (UI), Business (logic and underlying code) and Data (from storage or other sources).

Class Questions

1. What is the syntax to inherit from a class in C#?
Place a colon and then the name of the base class.
Example: class MyNewClass : MyBaseClass

2. Can you prevent your class from being inherited by another class?
Yes.  The keyword “sealed” will prevent the class from being inherited.

3. Can you allow a class to be inherited, but prevent the method from being over-ridden?
Yes.  Just leave the class public and make the method sealed.

4. What’s an abstract class?
A class that cannot be instantiated.  An abstract class is a class that must be inherited and have the methods overridden.  An abstract class is essentially a blueprint for a class without any implementation.

5. When do you absolutely have to declare a class as abstract?
1. When the class itself is inherited from an abstract class, but not all base abstract methods have been overridden.
2.  When at least one of the methods in the class is abstract.

6. What is an interface class?
Interfaces, like classes, define a set of properties, methods, and events. But unlike classes, interfaces do not provide implementation. They are implemented by classes, and defined as separate entities from classes.

7. Why can’t you specify the accessibility modifier for methods inside the interface?
They all must be public, and are therefore public by default.

8. Can you inherit multiple interfaces?
Yes.  .NET does support multiple interfaces.

9. What happens if you inherit multiple interfaces and they have conflicting method names?
It’s up to you to implement the method inside your own class, so implementation is left entirely up to you. This might cause a problem on a higher-level scale if similarly named methods from different interfaces expect different data, but as far as compiler cares you’re okay.

10. What’s the difference between an interface and abstract class?
In an interface class, all methods are abstract – there is no implementation.  In an abstract class some methods can be concrete.  In an interface class, no accessibility modifiers are allowed.  An abstract class may have accessibility modifiers.

11. What is the difference between a Struct and a Class?
Structs are value-type variables and are thus saved on the stack, additional overhead but faster retrieval.  Another difference is that structs cannot inherit.

Method and Property Questions

1. What’s the implicit name of the parameter that gets passed into the set method/property of a class?
Value.  The data type of the value parameter is defined by whatever data type the property is declared as.

2. What does the keyword “virtual” declare for a method or property?
The method or property can be overridden.

3. How is method overriding different from method overloading?
When overriding a method, you change the behavior of the method for the derived class.  Overloading a method simply involves having another method with the same name within the class.

4. Can you declare an override method to be static if the original method is not static?
No.  The signature of the virtual method must remain the same.  (Note: Only the keyword virtual is changed to keyword override)

5. What are the different ways a method can be overloaded?
Different parameter data types, different number of parameters, different order of parameters.

6. If a base class has a number of overloaded constructors, and an inheriting class has a number of overloaded constructors; can you enforce a call from an inherited constructor to a specific base constructor?
Yes, just place a colon, and then keyword base (parameter list to invoke the appropriate constructor) in the overloaded constructor definition inside the inherited class.

Events and Delegates

1. What’s a delegate?
A delegate object encapsulates a reference to a method.

2. What’s a multicast delegate?
A delegate that has multiple handlers assigned to it.  Each assigned handler (method) is called.

XML Documentation Questions

1. Is XML case-sensitive?
Yes.

2. What’s the difference between // comments, /* */ comments and /// comments?
Single-line comments, multi-line comments, and XML documentation comments.

3. How do you generate documentation from the C# file commented properly with a command-line compiler?
Compile it with the /doc switch.

Debugging and Testing Questions

1. What debugging tools come with the .NET SDK?
1.   CorDBG – command-line debugger.  To use CorDbg, you must compile the original C# file using the /debug switch.
2.   DbgCLR – graphic debugger.  Visual Studio .NET uses the DbgCLR.

2. What does assert() method do?
In debug compilation, assert takes in a Boolean condition as a parameter, and shows the error dialog if the condition is false.  The program proceeds without any interruption if the condition is true.

3. What’s the difference between the Debug class and Trace class?
Documentation looks the same.  Use Debug class for debug builds, use Trace class for both debug and release builds.

4. Why are there five tracing levels in System.Diagnostics.TraceSwitcher?
The tracing dumps can be quite verbose.  For applications that are constantly running you run the risk of overloading the machine and the hard drive.  Five levels range from None to Verbose, allowing you to fine-tune the tracing activities.

5. Where is the output of TextWriterTraceListener redirected?
To the Console or a text file depending on the parameter passed to the constructor.

6. How do you debug an ASP.NET Web application?
Attach the aspnet_wp.exe process to the DbgClr debugger.

7. What are three test cases you should go through in unit testing?
1.       Positive test cases (correct data, correct output).
2.       Negative test cases (broken or missing data, proper handling).
3.       Exception test cases (exceptions are thrown and caught properly).

8. Can you change the value of a variable while debugging a C# application?
Yes.  If you are debugging via Visual Studio.NET, just go to Immediate window.

ADO.NET and Database Questions

1. What is the role of the DataReader class in ADO.NET connections?
It returns a read-only, forward-only rowset from the data source.  A DataReader provides fast access when a forward-only sequential read is needed.

2. What are advantages and disadvantages of Microsoft-provided data provider classes in ADO.NET?
SQLServer.NET data provider is high-speed and robust, but requires SQL Server license purchased from Microsoft. OLE-DB.NET is universal for accessing other sources, like Oracle, DB2, Microsoft Access and Informix.  OLE-DB.NET is a .NET layer on top of the OLE layer, so it’s not as fastest and efficient as SqlServer.NET.

3. What is the wildcard character in SQL?
Let’s say you want to query database with LIKE for all employees whose name starts with La. The wildcard character is %, the proper query with LIKE would involve ‘La%’.

4. Explain ACID rule of thumb for transactions.
A transaction must be:
1.       Atomic – it is one unit of work and does not dependent on previous and following transactions.
2.       Consistent – data is either committed or roll back, no “in-between” case where something has been updated and something hasn’t.
3.       Isolated – no transaction sees the intermediate results of the current transaction).
4.       Durable – the values persist if the data had been committed even if the system crashes right after.

5. What connections does Microsoft SQL Server support?
Windows Authentication (via Active Directory) and SQL Server authentication (via Microsoft SQL Server username and password).

6. Between Windows Authentication and SQL Server Authentication, which one is trusted and which one is untrusted?
Windows Authentication is trusted because the username and password are checked with the Active Directory, the SQL Server authentication is untrusted, since SQL Server is the only verifier participating in the transaction.

7. What does the Initial Catalog parameter define in the connection string?
The database name to connect to.

8. What does the Dispose method do with the connection object?
Deletes it from the memory.
To Do: answer better.  The current answer is not entirely correct.

9. What is a pre-requisite for connection pooling?
Multiple processes must agree that they will share the same connection, where every parameter is the same, including the security settings.  The connection string must be identical.

Assembly Questions

1. How is the DLL Hell problem solved in .NET?
Assembly versioning allows the application to specify not only the library it needs to run (which was available under Win32), but also the version of the assembly.

2. What are the ways to deploy an assembly?
An MSI installer, a CAB archive, and XCOPY command.

3. What is a satellite assembly?
When you write a multilingual or multi-cultural application in .NET, and want to distribute the core application separately from the localized modules, the localized assemblies that modify the core application are called satellite assemblies.

4. What namespaces are necessary to create a localized application?
System.Globalization and System.Resources.

5. What is the smallest unit of execution in .NET?
an Assembly.

6. When should you call the garbage collector in .NET?
As a good rule, you should not call the garbage collector.  However, you could call the garbage collector when you are done using a large object (or set of objects) to force the garbage collector to dispose of those very large objects from memory.  However, this is usually not a good practice.

7. How do you convert a value-type to a reference-type?
Use Boxing.

8. What happens in memory when you Box and Unbox a value-type?
Boxing converts a value-type to a reference-type, thus storing the object on the heap.  Unboxing converts a reference-type to a value-type, thus storing the value on the stack.

Remember: this is not something that you can prepare over the night before an interview. You will have to be thinking about your job anywhere you go.

The global recession’s heat is now felt everywhere. Many loosing their jobs, freshmen praying god for an interview, and crying sound everywhere around the world to get a job. I had build a small strategy after speaking to many HRD officials of various MNCs. And this was what I wanted to share with you all!

Point 1:

The first part of any interview is the question, “Tell me a little about you”. The interviewer is hoping to get some info about you. Such as family info, health info, etc., this is a wide open question, and this is the first opportunity to create a great impression. My recommendation is to prepare a set of me in 30 seconds statements. The 30 secs. Should best explain about yourself.the goal of this is to demonstrate the critical info that you possess the potential employer would be interested. No hobbies, interests, that are not interested to the jobs. Prepare about 2 or three of statements, that suits your job. REMEMBER! Don’t exceed 30 secs.

Sample:

Behavior: Your Passion towards technology

“I’ve always loved computer since childhood. I built one from the scratch in my 8^th standard, and I love writing C programs, develop websites. I earned some money for building my college website when I was in the first year of my college. I personally believe that information technology has the power to change the world, and I want to be the person at the cutting edge doing it.!!

Tip: The “me in 30 seconds” statements should be well crafted and rehearsed before presenting! You should take control of the interview.

Point 2:

The behavioral interview has become one of the most essential part of the interview process among major IT players across the world. It analyses your past behaviors, the non family situations, like your school, your college, your leadership capabilities, etc. and this exposes you to how well you would work for the firm.

Point 3:

There would be questions about the past challenging situation that you have faced. If you are asked such a question, which involves a situation that you have never faced, that’s basically considered a bad answer. Cos, that reveals that 1) you are not a good thinker, 2) you don’t have much experience.

Tip: you may easily overcome this by doing an internet search on behavioral interview, and expose yourself to some of such situational questions.

Sample Questions:

1. Tell me about a time when you had to deal with an angry customer:

2. Tell me about a time when you had to tell your manager she was wrong

3. Tell me about a time when you had to deal with a personality conflicts on a team

4. Tell me about a time when you had to sacrifice to make a commitment

5. Tell me about a difficult decision you had to make this past year

6. The list goes on…..

Point 4: Approach of answering the questions:

There are various ways of answering the questions. One of the most accepted way is as follows:

a. The main goal of the expected answer is to check if you are capable of answering the questions to the topic and whether you are not exceeding the time limit.

Tip: keep your answers with in a minute. Practice a lot before appearing for the interview. Don’t talk very fast and keep your pulses normal. Think of answers than stories.

b. Use the SAR or STAR Approach:

i. Situation/Task:

Describe the situation or assignment. Your answer must be specific (real) event, not hypothetical.

Just give enough detail so that the interviewer understands the situation and your answer clearly.

Tip: Keep your answer with time frame of 15-20 seconds. I advise you to use a timer!

ii. Action:

Describe the action YOU took personally, rather than pointing on to other team members.

iii. Results:

Describe the positive outcomes (including lesions-learned) from your actions.

Once you have completed speaking out your answer, the interviewer will surely put forward some follow-up questions to you. Be ready to give your best shot.

Sample:

Situation:

This is from an interview that was attended by a Microsoft employee.

“I was asked to join a team that had been trying to build a software system for two years with a little success.”

Action:

Here goes the action he took:

“I discovered that they do not have a specific plan. And I just wrote a draft specs and insisted that we ratify or modify it and agree to it.”

Result:

And some fruits for him now!

“We finished the system within 90 days of my joining the team. I was asked to be the project manager for the next version.”

How do I prepare then?

1. Think of some 20 to 30 plausible or likely behavioral questions that you might be asked. Think of jobs, internships, etc., and try avoiding some family and spiritual services.

2. Write out a SAR answer for each question.

3. Practice giving the answer to family or friends or anyone you feel comfortable with! J

4. Remember: you will never be asked the question exactly that you prepare for! But that doesn’t matter at all! Once you are prepared to tell a story and you know that story very well, then no matter what question they ask you, the story you tell can emphasis that particular situation.ex. you can say about some challenges that you had working in a team and how you overcame that challenge.

5. You may use one story to answer many questions! (Feeling comfortable huh? ) but I advise you to try avoiding answering the same story to more than one question! Try working out strategy like holding up your best story to a later question, that you expect to be tough. This involves both strategy and risk.

6. Try bringing out some good situations that you came across earlier while preparing.

Comment: TRY TO AVOID FAMILY AND SPRITUAL SERVICES. Family doesn’t play a major role in interview process.

7. Do an internet search on “Behavioral interview”

     a. If you find a question like “Hey man, I never was under such situation”, then just go ahead and start finding a solution for that kind of a situation.

     b. Search for some example answer

     c. Find some additional guidance

Behavioral answers are the best of all the answers:

1. When you are questioned with a non- behavioral question, answer them with a behavioral answer. Ex., if the question is like “What would you do if…..”, then your answer may be like “I had a situation like that. And here is what happened. And this is how I did. !”

Some more guidance:

1. Most important of all, BE HONEST

2. Prepare, prepare and never ever give up. Consider an interview as your final competition, that you will have to definitely win and grab the prize!! J

3. Always answer in a way that highlights your past accomplishments.

4. 40 hours of preparation is a minimum time that you will have to allocate for preparation.

5. Avoid casting your previous colleagues in a negative light.

6. Just try to build a portfolio with examples of previous work, your college transcripts, and letters of recommendation, etc.,

Finally…:

An interview is focused conversation that YOU the interviewee have a great deal of control over what is asked and hot it goes. Focus on the accomplishments and stick on to the topic you are asked to! And never forget to rehearse before you appear. Expect some post about writing a resume to get  a job for sure very soon!! All you have to do now is, Go, Get a job, comment here!

There are some rules that are to be followed while you submit your paper details to the conference people. For all the conferences, symposiums or any other competitions, they follow one single format for submitting a paper. There are some steps to follow to impress the conference representatives.

Here are some shortcuts for impressing the representatives. You will have to jump over some important hurdles to get your paper impressed. Let me start with it now.

Step-1: Select your topic first

The first step for you to prepare a paper is to select the right topic you would like to work (research) on. Always choose the topic which you are much interested in. There are a wide variety of topics for you to choose upon.

Step-2: Working upon your topic

This is the step, where you put your idea to work. You will have to do a lot of research on the topic you choose. There are various ways thru which you can work upon. At first, if you have got your idea clear, you will have to first check whether someone had already worked on the topic or idea that you have worked on. There are a number of ways thru which you can do this.

I use the following sites to check for the ideas, whether someone had done before. These are called as “patents”.

And now that you have found that your ideas are unique, you may proceed to Step-3. But, in case you find that your idea has already been used, try to understand it completely and change your idea so that it overcomes the flaws that are mentioned in the patent. Mostly they will be mentioned in the conclusion section of the paper.

Step-3: Making ready your ABSTRACT and PAPER

Abstract is the first thing which will be sent for any conference or symposiums. The abstract is the complete gist of what your paper contains.

Always remember the following points before you submit your abstract. This is the general IEEE format of an abstract. The abstract must have a word limit of 150-300 words.

WORD LIMIT – 150 to 300 words

FONT – TIMES NEW ROMAN

FONT SIZE – 12pt

LINE SPACING – 1.5pt

MARGINS – 1”

ALIGNMENT – Justified

Step-4: Send your abstract

Once you are done with your abstract, you are ready to mail it!! Here are some tips on mailing your abstract.

1) Be formal, use words like Respected sir/madam.

2) Use phrases such as “Please find the enclosed copy of my abstract in thins mail”, etc.

Some institutions may require you to send a hard copy of you abstract, along with the paper. You may need to enclose a letter with that sometimes. Check the organization or the website of the competition on how to submit your paper.

Step-5: Presenting the PAPER

This is the final thing of your hard work. You after all the formal procedures are over, you will be asked to present the paper at the place defined by the conference people.

You will have to make your slides in such a way that it reaches the audience clearly. Use bullets to number your points.

Make sure your slides do not have any irritating background colors. Use simple templates to make your slides.

Given below is the general format for a presentation. Follow this order for your slides strictly.

The IEEE format acts as the interface for all the hard-work you have done researching on your topic. This was the format I used to taste success while submitting a paper to some international conferences or other paper presentation competitions. Read on!!

Abstract

The abstract is to be in fully-justified italicized text, at the top of the left-hand column as it is here, below the author information. Use the word "Abstract" as the title, in 12-point Times, boldface type, centered relative to the column, initially capitalized. The abstract is to be in 10-point, single-spaced type, and may be up to 3 in. (7.62 cm) long. Leave two blank lines after the abstract, then begin the main text. All manuscripts must be in English.

1. Introduction

These guidelines include complete descriptions of the fonts, spacing, and related information for producing your proceedings manuscripts.
Please note that your paper should normally be limited to six pages. A maximum of two additional pages can be used subject to a charge of $100/page.

2. Formatting your paper

All printed material, including text, illustrations, and charts, must be kept within a print area of 6-7/8 inches (17.5 cm) wide by 8-7/8 inches (22.54 cm) high. Do not write or print anything outside the print area. All text must be in a two-column format. Columns are to be 3-1/4 inches (8.25 cm) wide, with a 5/16 inch (0.8 cm) space between them. Text must be fully justified.

3. Main title

The main title (on the first page) should begin 1-3/8 inches (3.49 cm) from the top edge of the page, centered, and in Times 14-point, boldface type. Capitalize the first letter of nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs; do not capitalize articles, coordinate conjunctions, or prepositions (unless the title begins with such a word). Leave two blank lines after the title.

4. Author name(s) and affiliation(s)

Author names and affiliations are to be centered beneath the title and printed in Times 12-point, non-boldface type. Multiple authors may be shown in a two- or three-column format, with their affiliations below their respective names. Affiliations are centered below each author name, italicized, not bold. Include e-mail addresses if possible. Follow the author information by two blank lines before main text.

5. Second and following pages

The second and following pages should begin 1.0 inch (2.54 cm) from the top edge. On all pages, the bottom margin should be 1-1/8 inches (2.86 cm) from the bottom edge of the page for 8.5 x 11-inch paper; for A4 paper, approximately 1-5/8 inches (4.13 cm) from the bottom edge of the page. ‘

6. Type-style and fonts

Wherever Times is specified, Times Roman, or New Times Roman may be used. If neither is available on your word processor, please use the font closest in appearance to Times that you have access to. Please avoid using bit-mapped fonts if possible. True-Type 1 fonts are preferred.

7. Main text

Type your main text in 10-point Times, single-spaced. Do not use double-spacing. All paragraphs should be indented 1 pica (approximately 1/6- or 0.17-inch or 0.422 cm). Be sure your text is fully justified—that is, flush left and flush right. Please do not place any additional blank lines between paragraphs.
Figure and table captions should be 10-point Helvetica (or a similar sans-serif font), boldface. Callouts should be 9-point Helvetica, non-boldface. Initially capitalize only the first word of each figure caption and table title. Figures and tables must be numbered separately. For example: "Figure 1. Database contexts", "Table 1. Input data". Figure captions are to be below the figures. Table titles are to be centered above the tables.

8. First-order headings

For example, "1. Introduction", should be Times 12-point boldface, initially capitalized, flush left, with one blank line before, and one blank line after. Use a period (".") after the heading number, not a colon.

8.1. Second-order headings

As in this heading, they should be Times 11-point boldface, initially capitalized, flush left, with one blank line before, and one after.

8.1.1. Third-order headings. Third-order headings, as in this paragraph, are discouraged. However, if you must use them, use 10-point Times, boldface, initially capitalized, flush left, preceded by one blank line, followed by a period and your text on the same line.

9. Printing your paper

Print your properly-formatted text on high-quality, 8.5 x 11-inch white printer paper. A4 paper is also acceptable, but please leave the extra 0.5 inch (1.27 cm) at the BOTTOM of the page. If the last page of your paper is only partially filled, arrange the columns so that they are evenly balanced if possible, rather than having one long column.

10. Page numbering

Number your pages lightly, in pencil, on the upper right-hand corners of the BACKS of the pages (for example, 1/6, 2/6; or 1 of 6, 2 of 6; and so forth). Please do NOT write on the fronts of the pages, nor on the lower halves of the backs of the pages. Do not automatically paginate your pages. Note that unnumbered pages that get out of order can be very difficult to put back in order!

11. Illustrations, graphs, and photographs

All graphics should be centered. Your artwork must be in place in the article (preferably printed as part of the text rather than pasted up). If you are using photographs and are able to have halftones made at a print shop, use a 100- or 110-line screen. If you must use photos, they must be pasted onto your manuscript. Use rubber cement to affix the halftones or photos in place. Black and white, clear, glossy-finish photos are preferable to color. Supply the best quality photographs and illustrations possible. Penciled lines and very fine lines do not reproduce well. Remember, the quality of the book cannot be better than the originals provided. Do not use tape on your pages!

11.1. Color images in proceedings

The use of color on interior pages (that is, pages other than the cover of the proceedings) is prohibitively expensive. Interior pages may be published in color only when it is specifically requested and budgeted for by the authors. DO NOT SUBMIT COLOR IMAGES IN YOUR PAPER UNLESS SPECIFICALLY INSTRUCTED TO DO SO.

11.2. Symbols

If your word processor or typewriter cannot produce Greek letters, mathematical symbols, or other graphical elements, please use pressure-sensitive (self-adhesive) rub-on symbols or letters (available in most stationery stores, art stores, or graphics shops).

11.3. Footnotes

Use footnotes sparingly (or not at all!) and place them at the bottom of the column on the page on which they are referenced. Use Times 8-point type, single-spaced. To help your readers, avoid using footnotes altogether and include necessary peripheral observations in the text (within parentheses, if you prefer, as in this sentence).

12. References

List and number all bibliographical references in 9-point Times, single-spaced, at the end of your paper. When referenced in the text, enclose the citation number in square brackets, for example

Where appropriate, include the name(s) of editors of referenced books.

13. Copyright forms and reprint orders

You must include your signed copyright release form that will be available in Author’s Package when you submit your finished paper. We MUST have this form before your paper can be published in the proceedings.

I came across this speech of Bill Gates. He has said the following 11 rules that are not taught in any school.
